How It Works

1. Choose Your Race

Every runner has a story — and every race can become a way to honor it. Whether you’re training for your first 5K or your next marathon, Choose Running helps turn your miles into meaning. We work with runners, triathletes, and endurance teams to help you dedicate your race to a cause close to your heart.

2. Apply for Support

We believe financial barriers shouldn’t stand in the way of purpose. Through our fundraising platform, athletes can apply for help covering race entry fees, gear, and travel costs — so you can focus on running for something that matters.

3. Fundraise with Purpose

Once approved, you’ll receive a personalized fundraising link and storytelling tools to help you share your “why.” Our team provides guidance, graphics, and community support so you can inspire others to give toward your cause.

4. Run Toward Healing

Every step becomes a way to process pain, rediscover faith, and build endurance — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
You’re not just crossing finish lines; you’re helping others find hope through yours.

5. Share Your Story

After your race, we’ll celebrate your journey through our community channels — highlighting how your miles made a difference. Each story inspires the next runner to lace up, heal, and run toward purpose.

Your Race. Your Story. Your Healing.

Whether you’ve faced loss, trauma, or hardship, Choose Running Foundation exists to remind you that every mile carries meaning — and you never have to run your story alone.
